Meet your coach

I'm a competitive player on the ITF pathway, heading to Europe next winter to compete on the international circuit. My coaching comes straight from that: real match experience, clear technique and the mindset that comes from training at a high level.

What to expect
A lesson built around you
01

Match play first

Drills turn into points quickly, so what you practise is what you use on court.

02

Technique and tactics

Clear, simple fixes to your strokes, plus how to build and finish a point.

03

Fitness built in

Movement, strength and recovery are part of the session, not an afterthought.

04

A plan, not just a hit

Each week has a purpose and ends with a quick review, so you can see yourself improving.

Whatever your level, there's a place to start
Your first lesson
What happens, step by step
  1. 1

    Pick a time

Tap an evening on the timetable and send your request. It takes under a minute. New players, tick "first lesson" and it's free.

  2. 2

    Nick confirms

Your slot shows Pending until Nick approves it, then you get the court details.

  3. 3

    Turn up

Bring your racquet, water and court shoes. Balls are supplied.

  4. 4

    Play and plan

A warm up, a quick look at your game, then focused work and a clear next step. Pay cash or bank transfer afterwards.

Behind the coaching

How a player chasing a ranking trains

It's less about talent and more about structure. Every week is planned, every session pairs court work with the physical side, and progress is built over years, not weeks. It's the same approach I train under myself, adapted to whoever I'm coaching.

    Good to know
    Quick answers
Is the first lesson really free?

Yes. If you're new to Nick, your first lesson is a free trial. If you don't enjoy it, you never have to come again. Just tick "first lesson" when you request your time.

    How long is a lesson?

Every lesson is 1 hour, and private lessons are $70.

    What should I bring?

Your racquet, water and court shoes. Balls are supplied every session.

    Do you coach complete beginners?

Yes. Plenty of the best sessions start with a first grip. We go at your pace and keep it fun.

Can I book the same time every week?

Yes. Pick as many times as you like in one request and add a note that you'd like it weekly.

    How do I pay?

Nothing online. Pay cash or bank transfer after your lesson.

    How do squads work?

Squads are small groups of up to 5 players. Join the squad list on the home page and Nick will be in touch when one is going.
